Budding Gardeners 2018
RHS Garden Wisley
About the competition:
Does your school have what it takes to create an award-winning show garden for the RHS Budding Gardeners Competition 2018?
We are seeking budding garden designers to show off their love of gardening and imagination by creating and planting up a mini show garden to be displayed at RHS Garden Wisley during Summer Half Term (Saturday 26th May - Sunday 3rd June).
This year's competition is based around the theme of 'A Wildlife Garden'.
It is important to encourage wildlife to visit our gardens and to nurture them whilst they stop by. We would love you to plant a mini show garden designed to support and enhance the habitats of some of the creatures that help enrich our gardens.
You might be inspired to design a mini butterfly meadow or a toad’s abode, or even a dead-wood town where woodlice can live happily ever after! The world of garden wildlife is yours to imagine and explore.
How to enter:
If you think your school has got what it takes to design an outstanding 1m x 1m pallet garden, simply fill an application form and send it to the email address specified on the form.
Entries are welcome from all schools that are willing and able to get to RHS Garden Wisley for the set-up days and take-down days specified in the FAQ forms.
