The Campaign for School Gardening thanks its partners
The RHS Campaign for School Gardening would like to acknowledge the kind support of its partners
We are very grateful to have been supported by the following organisations
The UK Space Agency
UK Space Agency is an executive agency, sponsored by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills. The agency is responsible for all strategic decisions on the UK civil space programme and provides a clear, single voice for UK space ambitions. We are working closely with the Education and Skills division of UKSA on a programme linked to British ESA astronaut Tim Peake’s Principia mission to the International Space Station in November 2015. The project will give more than one million UK children the opportunity to work as an astrobiologist in a plant focused project looking at the potential for self-sufficiency of humans in space.
The Raspberry Pi Foundation
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is working to address the decline in young people’s programming skills through the provision of affordable, programmable computers for schools. We are working with the Foundation to encourage and support schools to link Horticulture and ICT in the curriculum, using a Raspberry Pi application for time lapse photography to observe changes in plants as they grow.
