UK Space Agency
The UK Space Agency is an executive agency, sponsored by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills. The agency is responsible for all strategic decisions on the UK civil space programme and provides a clear, single voice for UK space ambitions.
In 2015 we launched a joint project called Rocket Science which saw over 600,000 young people grow seeds that had been to space with British ESA astronaut Tim Peake alongside seeds that had remained on Earth. Read more about this project.
The Raspberry Pi Foundation
The Raspberry Pi Foundation is working to address the decline in young people’s programming skills through the provision of affordable, programmable computers for schools.
We have worked with the Foundation to encourage and support schools to link Horticulture and ICT in the curriculum, using a Raspberry Pi application for timelapse photography to observe changes in plants as they grow.
We are also proud to be working with the following organisations...
The partnership of organisations behind Countryside Classroom are committed to ensuring all children have the opportunity to learn about food, farming and the natural environment. It is led by and produced for teachers, to enable them to overcome the challenges they face in identifying and accessing the necessary support to inspire and educate their pupils.
Council for Learning Outside the Classroom
The Council for Learning Outside the Classroom believe that every young person should experience the world beyond the classroom as an essential part of learning and personal development, whatever their age, ability or circumstances.
The Landscape Institute
The Landscape Institute is the Royal Chartered Institute for Landscape Architects and Landscape professionals. They work to protect, conserve and enhance the natural and built environment for the public benefit.
The Wellcome Trust

The RHS has teamed up with The Wellcome Trust to deliver a practical CPD course 'Explorify in the Garden' that inspires educators to take the primary science curriculum outdoors with confidence.
